SnesMusic is a versatile player designed specifically for game music files. It supports a wide range of file formats including RSN files for the Super NES, GSF files for Game Boy Advance, 2SF files for Nintendo DS, PSF and Minipsf files for PlayStation, USF files for Nintendo 64, NSF and NFSE files for NES, VGM files for Megadrive, HES files for PC-engine, GBS files for Gameboy, VGM files for Game Gear, and VGM files for Master System.

With SnesMusic, you can enjoy the nostalgic sound of SNES music without the need to carry around the actual console. It provides a convenient way to listen to your favorite game music on the go.

Adding your .RSN files to SnesMusic is simple and easy. You can use iTunes File Sharing by following these instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4094?viewlocale=en_US. Alternatively, you can download RSN files directly through Safari, and SnesMusic will automatically open and add them to your music library.

SnesMusic offers high-quality sound reproduction that faithfully captures the charm of classic 16-bit chiptune music. It supports playlists that allow you to mix different game systems, so you can enjoy a diverse range of 8-bit and 16-bit chiptune tracks in one place.

The app also features cover support, providing you with the ability to search for images using the magnifier button, capture screen images, or download images using the "+" button or a two-finger touch gesture. Additionally, SnesMusic supports Airplay and Bluetooth headset connections for seamless playback.

Thanks to its background support feature, SnesMusic allows you to continue listening to your favorite tracks even while browsing the web or reading emails. The app's controls are accessible on the lock screen as well as the multitasking bar, making it easy to manage your music playback.

Please note that SnesMusic does not support standalone SPC files. SPC files for SNES must be placed within an RSN, 7z, or zip archive. Similarly, Megadrive VGM or VGZ files must be in a zip or 7z file, and PC-engine HES files should be included in a zip or 7z file along with an M3U file. Finally, PlayStation PSF and Minipsf files need to remain within their original zip, 7z, or rar archives. It's important to note that SnesMusic is not designed for playing SNES games.
